I haven't done a "hot pick" product review in a while, eh? I know I did one on a Victoria's Secret bra a while back, but I've found a bra even better. Soooo much better! It's the Calvin Klein T-shirt bra. I found it for like $15 at TJ Maxx (they carry odd sizes, and I'm an odd size...with issues, too!). This bra is smooth, hides well under tight-fitting shirts, very well formed, fits amazingly, has amazing support, and is extremely comfortable. If you're unhappy with your current bra, I highly recommend this one!

HOT PICK: POSE Tech for Sexy Calves
by

I'm not completely sure if this has anything to do with being photographed (which is my goal when posting a HOT PICK), but I just have to share, since I lived a long time with chicken legs before discovering this little gem of a way to really get some sexy calves going.
I've been a runner since I was 10 years old. I started out as a sprinter, but then moved on to distance running. So, I've had the opportunity to develop different leg muscles according to what and how I was running at any given time. But never could I escape the chicken legs. The underdeveloped, skinny things were the bane of my existance.
Not to say that I have sexy calves now, but I HAVE calves and that is an amazing thing to me! After decades of running, I finally found a way to run that develops the calves wonderfully. Even if you already have killer calves, you might find this method of running interesting; it has been proven to reduce running-related injuries.
It's called POSE Tech. In a nutshell, you run on the balls of your feet (which some people do naturally; I was not one of those people), lifting with your hamstrings and leaning slightly forward. When I first started running POSE, my calves burned like fire for a few days after each run. Now that I've been running this way a few months, there's no burn; I've "broken in" this new way of running and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

HOT PICK: This One's for the Girls!
by

So, I've always had bra issues. I'm bearing my soul here, stay with me (unless you're a guy, then get lost!). After 3 kids and 2 years each of nursing them (during which time the girls are the size of torpedoes), and being a little too large up top for my frame anyway, the girls have had issues fitting comfortably into a bra. I've tried wireless, underwire, WonderBra, etc. etc. etc. all with less than fantastic results.
So while window shopping last night, I decided to pop into Victoria's Secret and see if they finally had something for us women whose boobs have been through the ringer and now hang like empty gym socks (did I just say that on my photog blog?).
Biofit 7-way. It has revolutionized bras. It holds the girls in place in a comfy and pleasing manner, no spillage, no slipping. Ahhhhhh, sweet relief!

HOT PICK: Hi-Def Make-up for Photo Shoots

Cool!
I was going overboard at Sephora last night when I stopped to investigate a new (to me) line of make up called Make Up For Ever. A salesy approached me and recommended their mascara (I bought it, along with an eyeshadow) and pointed out the HD make up. (There is HD and even "blu-ray" make-up available in other brands.)
WOW. Make up made specifically to look great in front of the camera.
I'm liking this.
If you're planning a fashion shoot or heck, even for bridals...or for anything at all, and want to be adventurous, why not try this line? Their products look amazing. I'll let you know what I think of the mascara! I might just go back and try the foundation, etc.
If you try them, let me know and maybe we can do a few test shots! If you're REALLY DARING...they have fake blood and some cool, insane eyelashes. Vamp or Goth session, anyone?
Check out their website...it's cool just to browse! http://www.makeupforever.com/
Update: I've been using Make Up For Ever's "Smokey" mascara and LOVE it. It's dark, dramatic, and makes my lashes LONG and LUSH but not tacky. It stays on all day with no flaking or smudging, and washes off easily with just water! This is definitely my new favorite mascara!
